Why is the world the way it is?

In the grand scheme of things, what we are witnessing is the long indoctrinated regime of the selfish individual being challenged by a new global social consciousness. It's this struggle, hosted by humanity as a whole, that is at the centre of the widespread unrest in the world. It's an evolutionary paradigm shift... a chemical reaction of a highly complex nature. As aspects of humanity, it's up to us to do the emotional processing and play our roles in the scientific pantomime.
